Introducing Pet Gundog Foundations…

A course designed to introduce your dog to a variety of exercises that harness their natural abilities in a fun and effective way. The course will help you gain a better understanding of your dog’s natural instincts, allowing you to enjoy more reliability, cement your relationship with your dog, and see just how much potential they have.

The course provides an introduction to the following:

• Focus and Connection

• The importance of heelwork

• Working at a distance (placeboard training)

• Retrieving skills

• Whistle skills

• Steadiness to movement

The course is suitable for dogs who already have a basic level of obedience, and who can work comfortably around people and other dogs.

The course lasts 6 weeks and costs £110. Classes are held outside at our training field (Sugar Hill Farm, Stockton Lane, York YO32 9UA)

Pet Gundog Taster Sessions

So that you can get a feel for how the Gundog course will run, and what is involved, I am putting on some taster sessions. There are a 50 minute session that will give you a taster for the exercises we work on during the 6 week course.

The taster session lasts 50 minutes and costs £12.50. The next session is on:
